Roozi Ali

CEO – Ibne Sina
Mr. Roozi Ali is graduate in Electronics & Communications Engineering from University of Engineering & Technology (UET) Lahore Pakistan. He is Masters in Business Administration.
He is in the ICT industry since more than two decades.
He has worked on leadership and management positions in leading organizations in Pakistan and abroad. He was part of the Ericsson team who launched WARID 2G/2.75G network in 28 cities in Pakistan. He was member of the Core team of WARID LTE Transformation project and awarded performance excellence award.
He was part of the due diligence technical team in WARID-JAZZ merger project, one of the mega merger & acquisition program in Pakistan.He provided consultancy services to MTN Group and Ericsson in Market Unit Sub-Saharan Africa (MUSA) serving around 23 countries. He headed business units IN & VAS in South Sudan during his assigmentment with MDIC Lebanon. He has led project & program teams in successfully delivering multiple OSS/BSS, Fixed & Mobile Networks, IT Development, Digital Transformation, Unified Communications, IP CC Mobile Financial Services and Optical Fiber Network projects. He has provided specialist consultancy services to government of Pakistan for establishment of Digital Citizen Facilitation Centers (CFC) and Government to People Disbursement Programs supported by World Bank. Roozi participated in industry forums in Germany, Sweden and Brazil.

Muhammad Afzal

Director Planning & Projects – Ibne Sina
Mr. Muhamad Afzal is resulted oriented and knowledge led ICT expert. He has more 21 years of Management & Technical experience working Service Providers, Network Operators and System Vendors including Ericsson, Huawei, ZTE, WARID Telecom and PTCL. A Masters in Telecom Engineering, Afzal has led planning, design and project teams. He was part of the Core Engineering & Technology team involving the planning ,design ,expansion and modernization of WARID Pakistan 2G/2.75G/4G LET Network. He played outstanding role in the strategic project of WARID GSM to LTE/4G Transformation which was the first of kind in the Pakistan. He has Mobile Network experience as well as Fixed Network. In addition to other domain expertise, he is among the pioneers in Wireless and Optical Fiber Transmission Network Planning, Design and Implementation. Successful design and realization of TDM/IP Access Transmission network in difficult and hard-to-reach areas of Pakistan has been the hallmark of his achievements that helped rollout of Telcos’ PSTN as well as mobile 2G/3G/4G network to expand their service coverage in the outreach. He excelled in green-field Terrestrial fixed network planning and deployment apart from expansion, upgrades and transformation to hybrid (TDM/IP) and purely IP Transmission network tailored to cater for 3G as well as 4G cellular mobile radio networks while achieving cost efficiencies in managing solutions and resources.

Dr. Muhammad Taskeen Raza

Director Research & Innovation
Mr. Muhammad Taskeen Raza is Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, from the top ranking Engineering Institute of Pakistan, Pakistan Institute of Engineering & Applied Science (PIEAS). In the research, his articles have been published in reputed international journals and well-known conferences. He did BSc & M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering the from University of Engineering & Technology (UET) Lahore. He has more than 15 years of Teaching, Research and Industrial services experience. He has provided excellent teaching & academic services to some of the prestigious centers of technology & engineering of Pakistan. His areas of research include fault diagnosis & tolerance, switched systems, Machine Learning (ML) and Software Defined Radio. In addition to research, he is involved in design and development of the projects while supervising, providing consultancy and solutions for industrial problems in the field of embedded control systems, Manipulator and Robotics and Internet of Things (IoT) based home automation and healthcare.
